Wow that was fast. Lol I have missed your bloging though. High school wow. We don’t get there for a few years yet. It’s the biggest jump. Staying home and managing the kids is a big step. It’s hard managing the older years of education but you seem to have it all together. It’s the balancing act of a life time. Know one knows the amount of work that goes into raising and caring for the special needs family. It takes a lot of careful planing and more time/patience. You just have so much more on your plate then the regular every day mom out there. And hey we have to make it look like it takes no effort at all lol. When it comes to school I’m hoping
if we lay the ground work now we will be ready for the changes. We will be going to
our first school meeting soon. I’m glad to here you Have had a good school start. I had to laugh when I read about your sons gaming. My sons doing much of the same thing. He loves his game time. Soon it will be the start of balancing extra afterschool activities and homework. It’s going to be fun.

I was thinking of you just yesterday and wondering all about the trip to Greece! My you’ve been through a lot lately. No wonder you haven’t written. Sometimes, though writing is the best catharsis and helps you see things more clearly. B’s surface good natured school responses sound somewhat like my own son who is just 6! I know that if I had to choose between work and my son’s education, work would be stuffed in an old boot in no time! I’ll get by without the money but I cannot ever get back time – and the timing of my son’s education.

thanks for sharing such an emotion and fascinating post. I really hope if benefits someone else who maybe is at the beginning of their journey.
I found it amazing that they could be persuaded to change their label so easily and shocking that the ‘professionals’ don’t think beyond the diagnosis they make and the language they attach.
It’s an experience close to my own family and I think all your emotions are very valid and very natural.
I am glad things although a challenge have worked for you. You are Very inspiring!
